There were two ladies standing outside the Long Beach Convention Center (I think — I was kind of actually disoriented) after I finished my half-marathon on Sunday. Each had with her a reptilian pet, one an albino corn snake and the other a very large type of lizard called a tegu.

Random, but amazing! The tegu was very calm and hardly moved; perhaps because the weather was chilly? The snake was just beautiful to see. Its albinism gave it peachy-pink coloring in its eyes and markings on its head. I really liked how the pink mixed with the typical yellow. My favorite was definitely the snake. The ladies let all the passersby pet them, even with their post-race funk!
