I love the concept of dumpster diving but don’t really like the germs that come with the territory. My approach is more akin to holding my breath for a quick glance as I walk by.
About two weeks ago, I found a thick stack of papers in the dumpster that turned out to be a script. Judging by the way the script was sitting on top of a cardboard box in the dumpster, it had been obviously placed there very carefully, as if someone didn’t really want to toss it, but had to.
Curiosity got the best of me, and I picked it up and read it in my dining room. The story is an alien, sci-fi tale of teenagers breaking all rules to go on a forbidden road trip. Cheesy? Yes. Already done? Sure. But I couldn’t help liking it once I finished it.
