A couple of perfume sprays with nice package design caught my attention at a store. But it was one particular smell that really had me. It was something familiar, but I couldn’t say why I knew the smell.
It made me think of things like Hawaii and summer. I just had this gut feeling that I know the smell. It’s hard, isn’t it, describing such a physical (neurological?) reaction to a scent?
Anyhow, the point is, the smell made me remember the perfume. The brand is Voluspa, and their packaging is all pattern-based. It does a nice job referencing the cultural origins of the scents.
Oh, the scent was Saijo Persimmon.
