Damn, there’s a lot of Space Invaders in Paris. Going through my Paris photos (yup, still going through them), I think I spotted only three out of the thousands that are there.
Djeco Toys
This colorful, whimsical workspace is from a Parisian toy company called Djeco (I think they make wooden toys and games). The illustrations are by Christian Montenegro.
I did a bit more research, and everything about Djeco is so adorable, maybe except their logo. The toys, games, and web pages all carry an aesthetic of hand-illustrated, flat graphics with patterns and animals. Their line of wooden pull toys fits right in.

100 kisses in Paris
Yan Yaqing is a Taiwanese student studying music in France, but she’s becoming much more well known for her project—kissing 100 men in Paris. She is accompanied by a photographer who documents each smooch. Some of the photos are on her blog.
I love the photos because of the scenes surrounding the kiss and how each kiss is different. Can’t wait to see all 100 when she is done!
Some of the reactions are a little baffling though; some people said it’s not any different than “being a slut” and others have told her that she could get AIDS. Haha, seriously.
Add oil!
